My Art Work

2 Butterflies and Beetle: Materials - Paper, acrylic paint, template. Method: I used a roller and acrylic paint to create a background then i cut out the shapes of the beetle and butterflies. I used a screen printing frame and put the shapes of the insects onto the background then put on the screen frame then added paint and used a squeegee to spread the paint onto the shapes. 

Beetle: Materials - Pencil, paper, tracing paper, little wooden stick, ink. Traced it out of the book, then used ink to draw and fill in. I used a wooden stick to draw and fill in the little patterns on the beetle's body. 

Birds: Materials - Pencil, paper, tracing paper, little wooden stick, ink. Traced it out of the book, then used ink to draw and fill in. I used a wooden stick to draw around and fill in. 

Butterfly: Materials - Pencil, paper, tracing paper, little wooden stick, ink. Traced it out of the book, then used ink to draw and fill in. I used a wooden stick to draw antennae.
Experimenting with the colours

Bow: Materials - paper, paints, paint brush. Tutor drew the outline of the bow and i had to do shading with dark edge.  

Colour of the Wheel: Materials - paints, paint brush, paper. Circle was already on the paper, I used the primary colours first then mixed them with each other to make secondary and tertiary colours.
Blow: materials - paints, straw made from a rolled up piece of paper. put bit of water and but of paint onto the paper then blew the paint in different directions around the paper.

Repeated: Materials - paper, paint, paint brush. template. I drew around the template to create a repeated patten.

Lines: materials - chalk pencil, paper. Drawing lines of shapes chairs, walls, etc.    

Rubbing. Materials - Chalk pencil, paper. Rubbing of brick walls.
Rubbing of wall reinforcement support bolt. I held the paper up against the wall and rubbed with the pencil to create a repeated pattern
Rubbing of sole of shoe. Materials: paper, pencil, shoe. I held the paper against the shoe an rubbed it with the pencil to create a repeated pattern.
Collage of different typefaces. Materials: newspapers, magazines, photocopier. I cut out words, letters, different typefaces and stuck them onto a big paper and photocopied.

Non - Stop: materials - pen, paper. I start somewhere and draw without taking the pen off the paper.










F: materials - Colour brown chalk, paper. Create F using colour chalk, with darker round the edge.  

A: Create A using grey chalk, shading and darker round the edge. Materials - Grey chalk, paper.

RO: Create RO using grey chalk, shading and darker round the edge. Materials - Grey chalk, paper
R O: Materials - paper, charcoal. Using charcoal doing straight without going round.
